We are pleased to welcome Penelope Barnes, MD, PhD, to the PeaceHealth Medical Group Infectious Disease team of providers. Dr. Barnes’ medical interests include orthopedic, fungal, spinal and neurological infections; outpatient IV antibiotic therapy (OPAT); infections in transplant and cancer patients; and bacterial pathogenesis. She has served as an associate professor, researcher, leader and presenter in the field of Infectious Diseases (ID), but clinical medicine is her passion. Dr. Barnes comes to PeaceHealth from Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU).
