€5,000 Prizepool In Microgaming’s Arena of Gold Promotion at Casino Luck
Running from 8 to 15 May, Casino Luck’s online slots contest had a €5,000 prizepool for players spinning Microgaming’s Arena of Gold.
Across the 8-day event, members earned points based on each €1 wager on the Arena of Gold slot, available to play on desktop or mobile devices. A live leaderboard on the casino promotions page displayed the usernames with the highest point totals, letting players follow the standings as they changed.
Arena of Gold was developed by All41 Studios exclusively for Microgaming and launched in April 2020. The slot’s Roman gladiator setting takes players to the Arena of Gold, where fighters compete for riches as their trainers cheer them on, hoping for a substantial gold payment if a gladiator wins.
The game’s expected theoretical RTP was 96.2%, with medium game variance. Its layout has 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 pay lines, where winning combinations can land.
During play, participants also chased the slot’s maximum win: a 2,000x spin bet multiplier. The feature set includes Golden re-spins, free spins, scatter multipliers and 3 jackpots. Scatters can expand to 3x3 across the middle reels, while the free spins round uses gold coins that can build towards mega cash wins.
The slot offers several potential ways to win, though the tournament’s scoring structure favoured larger wagers. Casino Luck’s Arena of Gold contest could appeal to high rollers seeking leaderboard recognition, since the rankings prominently displayed casino usernames.

Points reflected the cumulative value of spin bets over the 8-day promotion: a €1 wager earned 1 point, a €10 spin earned 10, and a maximum €50 spin earned 50 points. When the contest ended, cash prizes were assigned to the top 10 positions.
The prize pool was divided as follows:
- 1st prize – £2,000
- 2nd prize – £1,000
- 3rd prize – £750
- 4th prize – £500
- 5th prize – £250
- 6th-10th prize - £100
The listed prizes had no wagering requirements. Winners could use the cash to play any Casino Luck game or withdraw their prize money straight away.
